Husky Was Raised Amongst Cats And She Now Thinks She's One Of Them
Some dogs pick up a few habits from the pets around them, but Tally took it to another level. This Husky mix was raised around cats, and her owner says she now acts like she belongs in the feline club.
Reddit user Dong_of_justice shared the story of Tally, also known as Tao Tao, a dog with cat-like posture, cat-like habits, and a talent for squeezing into boxes. From the way she sits to the way she judges the world in silence, Tally looks less like a typical Husky and more like a cat in a dog’s body.
Her owner did not have the original cat crew on hand, but Tally’s photos still make the case on their own. Read on.
“Our cat-dog would urinate on our floors if we ever did something wrong as well. She also had a knack for finding the best worst places to do it (i.e., carpets, rugs, etc.). She sat like a cat, with her arms and legs tucked under herself.”
“Here is the official introduction of Tally, aka Tao Tao (which means mischievous in Chinese), the very cat-like husky.”
Being raised amongst cats, this Husky thinks she's a cat too.

She even sits like a cat would sit

And of course, she's also obsessed with boxes

Basically a cat stuck inside a dog's body

She enjoys being inside boxes

Tally is actually mixed; she's not a pure Siberian Husky. She looks and behaves more like a malamute (which are also a bit cat-like), but most people don’t know what they are, so I go with ‘husky.’”

Her owners adopted her when she was just 2 years old

“She was raised with cats by her previous owners, and they only gave me puppy pictures without the cats. I can’t prove she was raised with them or that she truly thinks she’s a cat,” explains the funny husky’s owner.
It’s a different kind of mess, like the renter who named her Staffie a pitbull on her lease.

Something a cat would typically do...

That's one huge cat

She enjoys spending her days observing people while silently judging them. "She's almost completely mute."

Sunbathing cat style

She can't help but get into trouble at least once a day

Such a troublemaker

She also doesn't allow her owners to rub her belly, and when they do, she just stares at them until they stop.

“I would get stopped a lot on the streets just to be told how beautiful she was. Usually, I wouldn’t be able to hear it all before she’d drag me away.”

She's quite flexible, but also very lazy. If she wants to check what’s going on, she just twists her head.

After rescuing a cat, this owner already had three huskies, and chaos followed, too.
