It's commonly stated that timing is crucial when looking for and starting a good relationship, but what if timing is actually the main factor straining your current partnership? You may feel empty and underappreciated if you and your spouse are devoted to each other, but the only thing that's not working is that they are late all the time.
After all, you can get the impression that they value their time more than yours if they consistently arrive after the prearranged hour. But what about when your partner sneaks out at night all the time?
Of all, sneaking out is nothing new; it's just one more example of the kind of daring behavior that teenagers have long displayed in their quest for freedom. It should go without saying that it is improper to sneak out.
I'll say it again: teenagers shouldn't sneak out! Not only does it disregard household and familial norms, but it can also lead to involvement in inappropriate or even illegal activities and is quite dangerous.
Not all teenagers engage in it, but those who do must comprehend the consequences of continuing. But the OP of today's story had to deal with it as her husband was the one always sneaking out at ungodly hours of the night.
The OP often gets up at around 4 a.m. or so to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. But when she gets up, she never finds her husband in bed.

His dismissal of you asking, of which asking what you were doing leaving the house in the middle of the night is very reasonable, is concerning. If it were just insomnia and a middle of the night walk helps, that’s something he should be comfortable communicating to you.
Like, I’m not saying a couple should ask each other for permission to leave the house, but letting your partner know when you’re leaving and what you’re doing when you’re not at home is just common courtesy.
Someone should know where he is for safety reasons

Reddit/ThrowRA_sneaks_out"Don't worry about it" isn't an answer
Reddit/ThrowRA_sneaks_outMany Redditors are of the opinion that even if someone has insomnia, it's always important to have their locations on and their phones with them. One said he and his wife both suffer from insomnia and sometimes a walk as fresh air is the only solution.
The important thing here is that locations are a must and the OP needs to have that in case something happens to her husband on one of those middle of the night walks.
