The World's Largest Harry Potter Store Is Going To Open In New York And It Features Products From The Movies

This Harry Potter store will sell everything from personalized robes and Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans to a brand-new range of house wands. Where do I sign?!

Do you have your Nimbus 2000 broomstick in hand?! If not, you should! Be ready to fly to the big NYC because um HELLO! The world's largest Harry Potter store is opening this year!

There definitely isn't a shortage of Harry Potter themed attractions across the world, Warner Bros Studio tour in Watford England and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando Florida to name a few.

However, this store just may be the most dangerous to those who have a love for HP and a hole burning in their pocket- "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" will be the most chanted mantra of the year I'm sure of it!

Not to mention to my bank balance will most definitely be affected!

Same Harry, same.

Warner Bros. made the earth shaking (or should I say wand shattering?) announcement on January 9th.

A huge 20,000 sq ft 3 story building will be opening in the heart of the Big Apple, all in the name of the greatest wizard to ever live. The store will bet set near the iconic Flatiron at 935 Broadway.

Sarah Roots who is the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Tours and Retail, Warner Bros, mentioned in a press release:

"This will be the largest dedicated Harry Potter store in the world and will become a must-visit fan destination where Harry Potter enthusiasts can engage with interactive experiences and numerous photo opportunities as they step into the magic.

We are very excited to be opening in New York. It’s the ideal city in which to launch with so many dedicated Wizarding World fans, a cutting-edge retail environment and a community that embraces innovative experiences."

The store will also host the largest collection of Harry Potter and the Fantastic Beasts products in the entire world. All under one roof.

That includes personalized robes, Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans and a brand new range of house wands with designs exclusive to the NYC location!

The flagship spot for Potterheads will be one that will give "fans with a number of exciting retail experiences that evoke the magic of the Wizarding World."

In addition to the studio tour and Orlando location, there's tons of other HP themed locations to visit. You could take a train to Kings Cross Station in London, AND get a picture at Platform 9 3/4.

However if you're ever up north, jump onto the Jacobite stream train in Edinburgh. You'll be riding on the very same tracks as the Hogwarts Express has traveled each and every year.

Don't forget to check out Glencoe, which is the stunning scenic location for tons of the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban!
