Owning a cat may be one of the most amazing things ever, but it also comes with challenges.
Asides from being responsible for another creature, you have to deal with veterinary appointments, which, let's face it, isn't the most entertaining way to spend your day.
However, we've got to do what we must for our beloved felines, even if it means inhaling intense antiseptics and seeing pets in pain. This sacrifice is also an expensive one too.
Wellness check-ups, dental care, lab tests, and vaccines can cost cat parents a pretty penny. But what the heck—it's our beloved furry companions we're talking about here!
Let's not even talk about the arguments that pop up every now and then between vets and angry clients. When a sick pet is involved, it won't be surprising to see emotions fly all over the place.
But surprisingly, vets are not always at the receiving end of this uncivil behavior. Sometimes, clients feel the sting too.
We stumbled on a Reddit post that proves the lengths people go for their cats. And it's imperative to say that some medical personnel might need a bit more training on customer communication.
One cat parent shared a story under the AITA (Am I The A**hole) subreddit, detailing her interaction with a nurse at the vet's office. And we're sure she won't forget it in a hurry.
Reddit user u/aita_banfield explained that she spends $35/month on an insurance plan for her cat. So, as usual, she visited the vet's office for one of her regular appointments, but this one was different.
While in the waiting room, one of the nurses seemed to be quite hostile towards her. Whether the nurse was in a bad mood or not, we can't say, but OP (Original poster) wasn't having any of that.
You bet OP gave her a piece of her mind. But that's not where it ends. Scroll down to find out the juicy details.

aita_banfield / reddit.com"The office was unprofessional and didn't seem to care about your business or cat"
aita_banfield / reddit.com"NTA. And go ahead and complain to manager and vet"

aita_banfield / reddit.com"Nurse should be fired immediately"
aita_banfield / reddit.com"Your 'demands' were basic human kindness and they weren’t met"

aita_banfield / reddit.comVisiting a vet with your pet is essential, but it’s also important to go to a clinic where you feel comfortable.
