Woman Accidentally Steals Homeless Man's Pet Rat and 2 Weeks Later They Are Finally Reunited
A homeless man left his pet rat Lucy on a milk crate while he visited the restroom and when he came out, his rat was gone.

Living in the city of Sydney, Australia on the streets is tough, which is why a few people living without shelter have a bonafide pet to help them get through the hard times. Chris, a 59-year-old homeless man took his rat, Lucy, and left her on a milk crate on Pitt Street in Sydney as he went to the toilets nearby. When he was done, his rat was nowhere to be seen.
Unbeknown to him at the time, a woman had passed by and saw that the rat was dual toned and was clearly tame. She assumed the rat was dumped there, so thought she would be a good Samaritan and take the rat home. There she fed the rat and kept it safe.
After seeing all of the posts that went viral on Facebook, thanks to the NSW Police Force, the rat was returned to the custody of the homeless man two weeks after his beloved Lucy went missing.
