There are a thousand and one dog stories on the internet, and no matter how we try to avoid them, it always creeps up on our feed. Nevertheless, we don't mind coming across them as these stories just have a way of lightening up our day, especially when it has a happy ending.

We all know that dogs are incredibly loyal, and we have so many stories of animals waiting patiently for their owners to come home. Today's story is no different, and yes, it definitely has a happy ending.

The lost dog videos became viral on TikTok and won viewers' hearts. A dog is seen in the video, which was uploaded by @jimjimmie in December, patiently suffering the persistent rain outside of a store in Sembilan, Malaysia.

The dog's constant presence suggested that it was eagerly anticipating someone's arrival. Jim tried to get the dog to come to him, but she didn't move.

She had remarkably remained steadfastly positioned in front of the same store for four days in a row. Although the dog is shown in the video receiving food, it is clear that she will remain there, patiently awaiting her owner's return.

The scene was undoubtedly heartbreaking, but the story does have a happy ending. According to the Malaysian news outlet SAYS, the video's broad distribution was extremely important in helping to reunite the dog with its owner.

According to the story, the dog, named Bairava, had suffered an agonizing eight months of separation from her owner, Vaani.

The first time Vaani saw Bairava's devoted vigil was on the web video. Vaani was overcome with hope and hurried to where Bairava had been waiting patiently, resulting in an immensely touching reunion.

“I went there and called her name… we were all overcome with tears of joy as we embraced our beloved dog,” Vaani shared with SAYS.

A kindhearted 40-year-old mother named Vaani describes how she saved Bairava, a stray dog, five years prior. Unfortunately, Vaani's illness and subsequent recovery period, during which Bairava inexplicably left, caused their relationship to be momentarily severed.

Vaani looked everywhere, but her quest for her beloved companion was all for nothing. But when she came across the popular video depicting Bairava's unshakable commitment and patient wait, a flicker of hope appeared.

This sincere act of devotion served as a sign that her pet dog was still alive and longing to be reunited.
