The honeymoon is typically the trip of a lifetime for newlyweds. Even if you might take longer or more distant trips in the future, perhaps with your expanding family, this first trip after the wedding is an experience unlike any other.

And most significantly, it gives you experiences that you'll treasure forever. But the OP in today's story has found herself in a dicey situation that she has no option but to yield to.

The OP is a newlywed who plans to go on a honeymoon with her husband sometime later. This is because she wants to save her PTO, which is ten days per year, to take one big trip for the year.

Her father-in-law, despite knowing their plans, went ahead and booked an all-inclusive paid vacation for the OP and her husband. To be more explicit, everyone in her husband‘s family is going on this trip, which is paid for entirely by the OP's father-in-law.
