A Goldendoodle is what happens when you combine a Golden Retriever's warm-hearted personality with the luscious curls of a Poodle. It is a relatively new designer breed that was first introduced in America during the 1990s.

They are not yet registered as a breed of their own since they are regarded as a mix, but they still deserve an honorable mention considering they are the product of two pure breeds.

Goldendoodles are not only athletic, but they are also quite intelligent, making them perfect for people who have allergies since they are hypoallergenic (they don't shed).
