Rescue Cat Expresses Her Gratitude By Bringing Her Mom's Slippers To Her Every Morning

Viral news is often overwhelmed with rescue dog stories, but that doesn't mean that there aren't incredible cats out there doing incredible things! And we're all about incredible cats.

Love definitely makes your soul glow differently, there's absolutely no denying that. Little Miss Lulu is a perfect example of just that.

Two years ago this cat's life changed for the better, forever. She went from a sad shelter kitty to a precious beloved baby-cat. And since then, this cat, Lulu has been overly gracious to her fur-mom.

The sweet cat had been with her fur-mom for a few months when her new daily ritual first began, (I think it's safe to say she finally got settled in). Sweet Lulu noticed that her fur-mom enjoyed wearing her slippers every morning while she began her day.

So Miss Lulu took it upon herself to retrieve them for her every morning, no matter where she had left them the day prior. Since the thoughtful kitty cat could only carry one slipper at a time, she makes two trips each morning.

Talk about being a dedicated cat!

AWE! That doesn't even begin to cover this. I'm not sure I've heard a more heartfelt animal story in my life!

"My mom was surprised [the first time it happened]," Lulu's fur-mom's human daughter, Kayla, gushed to The Dodo.

"She wore the drool-covered slippers to encourage Lulu." And of course without fail, the routine stuck.

This was only trip one of course!

Kayla's mom had boasted that Lulu would take it upon herself to gather her slippers for her each morning, but Kayla had merely assumed she was joking.

"I didn’t believe her until she got it on camera," Kayla said.

Fortunately for us, and the entire world, she did. And now the whole globe has the chance to know how sweet and grateful Miss Lulu really is.

Daily second trip. My heart can't take this!

Obviously we have no idea 'why' Lulu actually does this, but we're going to go ahead and assume the gesture is exactly what we believe it to be, considering how sweet-natured she is.

"It really seems like she just want to take care of my mom, since my mom takes such good care of her," Kayla said.

She's such a beautiful soul! You can see it in her eyes!
