Game of Thrones was the most viewed and most popular high fantasy series during its time. The hit TV show was based on the books written by George R.R. Martin.

The TV series had 8 seasons that aired from 2011 to 2019 on HBO. The series launched the careers and cemented the fame of some of its actors.

There were a lot of iconic characters in that show from its beginning and its end, including the dragons. One of the characters that the fans absolutely loved was Oberyn Martell.

Prince Oberyn was a member of the House of Martell who are the ruling family of Dorne. Prince Oberyn was also known as the Red Viper of Dorne.

In the show, Oberyn was well-loved for his intellect, his sharp tongue, and his fighting skills. He was no prude and didn't shy away from his passions; he had eight daughters known as the Sand Snakes.

He was played by the dashing actor, Pedro Pascall who has since been a Hollywood staple right after his part in the hit TV show. Pedro has since been on shows such as Narcos, and The Mandalorian, as well as movies like Kingsman: The Golden Circle and Wonder Woman 1984.
