Who actually believes that life is monotonous and uninteresting all the time? Even in the silliest of circumstances, the best response to difficulties and unanticipated turns that life presents is to laugh them off.
By producing amusing comics about her daily life, Australian artist and mother Jess Rae hopes to achieve this. For lighthearted reading that will make you grin, look no further than her comic art called the "Doodley Squat Comics."
Jess Rae was a projectionist before she began drawing. The artist once had a job at a bead shop filled with sparkling beads.
She started making cartoons using kids' drawing software because she was getting tired of reading the text on her Facebook page. To begin, Jess just drew on her phone with her finger.
She promptly purchased an iPad and an Apple Pencil after her brother inquired about publishing her comics in the neighborhood paper. To create layers and draw with vector lines, she switched from Doodle Buddy to Clip Studio.
Jess' primary creative inspiration came from the support she received from people who had shared and appreciated her drawings. Unfortunately, before COVID-19, the popularity of her work plummeted as a result of the Instagram algorithm upgrade.
We've gathered a bunch of her hilarious artworks, and we've featured them below for you. So go ahead and enjoy!
