Optical illusion or a larger-than-life Seagull?
In 2018, Paula Northway Poland went on a trip with her friends to Texas. While they were at the beach, one of her friends took a photo of her when she was feeding the seagulls.
They did not know at the time that the photo had been photo-bombed. The friends had planned that visit to take a break from the chilly winter of Utah and since they were in Texas, a visit to the beach was a must.
Poland said:
“This was our first day at the beach, and my friends sat on the shoreline while I went to the water to feed bread to the seagulls so I’d be away from people.”
Poland shared, “Christine snapped this picture, and it wasn’t until later that we noticed that this magnificent photo- bomb had taken place.”
While Poole was taking the picture, the trick of perspectives came into play. Just at the time when the shutter clicked, the seagull flew up.
When Poland was going through the pictures with her friends that night, they saw a large bird looming over her. It was hilarious and freaky at the same time.
It was a coincidence but a very memorable photo for all of them.
Poland is so fond of the picture that she got it printed and put it up in her living room. Although snapped by chance, it is a picture worth showing to everyone.
