No one likes going to the hospital, even if it's for a regular 'prickless' checkup. Our dogs also don't like going to vet clinics.
Maybe it's the fear of the unknown or just the weird smells in vet clinics that churn the stomachs of most pets and their parents. Pet parents know how important vet visits are, but you can't blame them for not wanting to go.
Vet clinics and hospitals go hand-in-hand with injections, blood checks, and scary-looking nurses and doctors. Even if you're fine, the doom-and-gloom environment of the hospital makes it look like it's the last day on earth for you.
I'm sure our pets feel the same way. I've seen and heard about so many pets who ran away from vet clinics!
But what if vet clinics worldwide changed something about them that made you look forward to visiting them with your pets? That's exactly what Carroll County veterinary clinic has done.
The aim of this vet clinic is to ensure that every visitor enters with a smile and leaves with a selfie! All they did was put up an outdoor sign with funny pet jokes that turned heads!
From vet jokes to one-liners and puns, this vet clinic has set an example for other clinics to follow.

Weren't these jokes and puns just pawsome? Sometimes all you need is a joke to lighten the mood a little, right?

I think we all agree that the Carroll County veterinary clinic is doing something right here!
Lynn Wimmer, owner, and lead vet at the Carroll County veterinary clinic said, "I just figured in today’s day and age, you know, it’s better to laugh about things. So now we just kind of look for the fun."
She added, "We want to give something that cheers people up..."
Vet technician Beki Carlyle updates the signs every Sunday with the help of her daughter, Reilley.
Carlyle said, "It shows that we have a personality, and it shows that we’re not wrapped real tight. We try not to offend anybody ... we try to take everybody’s feelings into consideration."
I say they're doing a pawsome job making people smile! What do you think?
