Working in food service can be incredibly challenging. People who work in hospitality deal with all kinds of people, from frustrated or demanding customers to taking strange orders.
So, this job really requires patience and resilience. Anyone who has ever worked in retail has a story that explains how people can be so weird.
And the famous saying, "The customer is always right," just makes it harder because they need to politely explain to customers who won't listen that they're in the wrong. In such situations, this phrase is useless, but customer likes to use it as an excuse for their behavior or weird demands.
