Gadd let Good Morning America know that a miscarriage never made it to her list. "It required a few minutes for it to truly hit me and I was crushed so bad," she said. "The doctor inquired as to whether she could embrace me and the second she did, I began crying."
It worsened over the following week, and Gadd's mother had to have a dilation and curettage. A dilation and curettage is an operation performed after a miscarriage to clear the coating of the uterus.
Gadd recalled that she was still extremely pregnant, sick, and her boobs hurt during that week. "My body felt extremely pregnant, yet my mind knew that I would not be pregnant for much longer and that was truly hard to accept."
