The Internet has changed everything. But the Internet itself is continually evolving.
Since its inception, the Internet has seen a substantial transformation. It has transformed how we communicate and has automated many laborious daily tasks, including paying bills and working remotely.
People are nostalgically thinking back on the early days of the Internet in this AskReddit topic. Things that we once loved but have since forgotten.
It was a more carefree time when people rushed home from school to watch Salad Fingers and use AOL. Later, it would develop into Farmville and Myspace. Now we have high-speed WiFi, and we don't have to wait a whole minute for a page to open via dial-up.
We have the world at our fingertips almost instantly. But did it take all the fun out of exploring?
Were the good old days truly the good old days? Or is it just the nostalgia talking?
Who knows. One thing is certain, though.
We really had a lot of fun back in the days when the Internet was just starting. It was new and exciting.
