Cats don't really care about the rules of physics or any rules at all, cats do whatever pleases them and cats definitely don't care about the consequences of their actions. It's a blessing and a curse at the same time.

Cats will hang out anywhere they want even when it's not comfortable, it's almost as if cats have the ability to turn any environment into a comfortable spot they can chill in. Scientists haven't been to able to figure this out yet but most of us do joke about cats not abiding by the laws of physics or saying "cats have noodle bones" and "cats are liquid."
