Man Finally Gathers The Courage To Explore An Abandoned House Across The River, Shares His Eerie Findings Online
Don't look at the pictures until you're mentally ready!

Occasionally, you may come across what appears to be an abandoned house while traveling through a neighborhood. The telltale indicators of deserted locations are strikingly visible.
The condition of ruin is evident from the boarded-up windows, the overgrown vegetation, the peeling paint, and the collapsing driveway. Words like deteriorated, run-down, and unsettling will frequently spring to mind.
There is a sense of desolation in these areas, and you might wonder about the family's fate. Sometimes, you can't say anything when you see abandoned homes.
How could someone allow such a beautiful property to be neglected? What may have driven them from their house?
A home that its owner has voluntarily left behind is considered abandoned and a house is typically deemed abandoned once its owner hasn't lived there for a number of years. There must be convincing proof that the owner has given up their ownership rights to the property in order for abandonment to be accepted.
Additionally, the owner must have made it clear that they intend to give up control. This Redditor lived opposite one of such houses.
Although he had grown up across from this property, he never mustered the confidence to go take a look.
The house happens to be across the river from his property and no one knows who owns it

A view from the house at he progresses

Nobody knows the last time someone entered this house

It's no wonder why

There's broken windows

An old pump-like mechanism, probably for getting water out of the river

A look at the side view

It seemed to be a sprawling cabin of sorts, with a few different buildings

An upclose view

This is how the roof is

A look at the outside from there

The smaller structure next to the main house was completely caved in

More broken glasses

A rotting wheel barrow

A closer look at the wheels

That's by the side

The house was unlocked, so they walked right in

A brief look on the inside

Sunkist Oranges

Surprisingly, lots of items were still left inside

Presumably guarded by the evil spirits

Is that a light?

There's lots of pottery

Apparently, it has gotten rotten

There's the toilet

Things were arranged inside as if, years ago, the family suddenly got up and left.

Complete with old-school fridge

There's another section

That's the end of the scouting

It would be really helpful if someone put up a notice saying, "Beware: Ghosts and Stuff." You won't even hold the man responsible for his hasty departure as I'm itching to locate the closest deserted structure and rifle through it, ghost or not.
Tell us what you think about this eerie house and what you would say to this man if you saw him for undertaking such a move.
