Being an adult is this day and age is not easy, there are a lot of complicated things you have to deal with on a daily day basis that require an insane amount of patience and restraint. Most people just want to survive and feed their kids, but even wanting something as basic as that is sometimes unattainable.

Unfortunately, most work environments are extremely toxic and filled with drama, which ends up making a lot of people's lives a living nightmare. A Reddit user who goes by the username u/Horatius-Cocles shared his story on the r/ProRevenge subreddit where he explained how he began a hotel job while he was still in college and managed to finesse a flexible schedule that allowed him to balance school and work.

Everything was going according to plan until management changed and things took a turn for the worse...
