Not all attics have to scenery for horror movies, and this amazing transformation is the best proof. A dedicated husband created an amazing closet space for his wife in their attic.
Rodolfo Carbera was working on it for three weeks and has spent between $25,000 and $30,000 to remodel this once unused and creepy space completely.
The fact that Rodolfo has been working in the remodeling business for 15 years definitely helped, and this attic is a showcase of his craftmanship. He came to the US from Guatemala and now lives in Maryland.
After working in construction, he started his own company - Remodeling & Design LLC, four years ago. The pictures of his new attic vent viral after his daughter Joserin shared them on Twitter.

Pictures of the attic became viral after Rodolfo’s daughter Joserin posted them on Twitter. The post got over 440k likes and was retweeted more than 69K times.
Joserin says that she expected “a few likes and retweets because people love a good before-and-after,” but she never expected this much attention.
Both she and her mom were overjoyed with the remodeling job. “We were both really amazed because we knew it was going to look good, but he exceeded our expectations.”
Joserin says that the rest of their home looks like their attic. “Everything was redone by my dad and his company, Remodeling And Design LLC before we moved in.”
The husband let his creativity take over.
Rodolfo told House Beautiful that he was motivated to build the dream closet when he saw that the family needed more closet space. “One day, I went up to my attic, and I began to think, ‘Wow, we have all this empty space that we can transform into something else,’” he said.
Before they started the renovation work, He and his workers had to clean the attic. After that, they did the framing, the electrical, the drywall, the plastering, and finished off with subtle LED lighting.
The shelves came next, and after completing them, they moved in some furniture from the bedroom. Rodolfo says that he let his creativity take over.
Rodolfo added that the biggest challenge was making the stairs. “They are only attached to one wall, so we needed to add as much support as we could to that one side.”
