A Dozen Corgis Run The Show At The Corgi In The Garden Cafe In Thailand
Here are two things that are already popular: dogs and cafes. If you combine these two elements to create a dog-themed cafe, you have a guaranteed hit on your hands.
In Thailand, this dreamland exists, and it has become a certified hit for locals and tourists alike. Travelers rest their weary feet and walk into the Corgi In The Garden Cafe, where they are immediately welcomed by a dozen corgis.
Thailand is a beautiful country, but this corgi cafe takes it to another level. The popularity of the cafe is not surprising, given the country's love for this dog breed.
The owner of the cafe, Tanchanok Kanawaong, shared the origins of her business. Tanchanok is a dog lover.
In fact, she used to have a mix of 10 Golden Retrievers and Siberian Huskies at the same time. When her pets passed away, she sought a smaller dog breed with similar personalities to her former pets.
That's how her love for corgis began. She started with one male corgi and began adopting more one after the other.
Before long, one of her corgis gave birth to an unexpected litter, and her five-dog pack turned into a dozen. She wasn't initially planning on starting the cafe when she adopted her pack, but seeing them run around and feeling their energetic play inspired her idea.
Tanchanok wanted to share the love and joy she felt with the corgis.
Having a dozen of them made the cafe idea more feasible. Her reluctant idea paid off quickly, as her customers fell in love with the energetic bunch.

Who wouldn't love this corgi welcoming committee?
The original five dogs—Porkchop, Pumpkin, Salmon, Bean, Babycorn—and all their pups are loving the endless attention!
Don't worry; the Dynamic Dozen are all trained by a professional to ensure they are safe around humans. Their training is paying off big time, as they receive treats from customers after performing the tricks they've mastered.

Their diets are still carefully monitored, and the owner ensures they are not being overfed by their guests.

The pups actually get their daily required exercise in the attached garden on the premises.
The dogs are free to run around the garden three times a day to burn off all those extra treats they receive. They are such role models!

The Corgi In The Garden is open from Monday to Friday from 12 noon to 6 PM. On Saturdays and Sundays, they are open from 10 AM to 6 PM.
How often do the dozen corgis work? They are at the cafe every day, but they are only scheduled to meet 50 guests for a total of three hours each day.

Their 'fan meet' has an hour interval in between to allow the pups to rest.

The cafe does not accept reservations, and the pup meet is on a first-come, first-served basis.

There is also an $11 fee if you wish to be friends with the famous corgis.

It's absolutely worth it, isn't it?

The corgis in the cafe are of the Pembroke Welsh breed.

They are the kind of corgis favored by the British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.

Tanchanok assures her patrons and dog lovers alike that their first priority is and will always be the welfare of their dogs.

They may be famous, and people do line up to meet them, but they are still dogs who need time to be their playful and cuddly selves.

They do look like they have figured out how to balance their personal lives and busy careers!

If you ever find yourself visiting Thailand, make sure to stop by the Corgi In The Garden. It's a one-of-a-kind experience that will be worth the trip.
After all, it's not every day that you get the opportunity to meet a dozen happy corgis all at once. It surely transforms a regular coffee run into an unforgettable memory.
