I don't know about you, but I've never found someone or something that looks like me.

However I've come across many people who look like others that I know. And my oh my is it strange.

Doppelgänger is a German word, meaning:

"The concept of the existence of a spirit double, an exact but usually invisible replica of every man, bird, or beast, is an ancient and widespread belief."

So the common belief is that, for every one of us, there is a second.

That's a little crazy and creepy to think about, right?

I wonder if I'll ever come across mine in my lifetime. Or maybe my husband's, or my kids?

Wouldn't that be something, to find the doppelgänger of your child.
