Few wildlife moments are as unexpectedly sweet as a dolphin rolling over for a belly rub. That is exactly what happened here, when a snorkeler found themselves face-to-face with a very affectionate bottlenose dolphin named Dusty.
The footage shows Dusty following divers around and soaking up attention like a seasoned regular. It is a simple scene, but the kind that instantly makes people stop scrolling, especially once they realize this is not even Dusty's first time asking for cuddles.

Elaine Farrell, a wildlife photographer, was waiting for a ferry when she spotted an adorable scene. This adorable bottlenose dolphin was having the time of its life while this snorkeler spoiled it with belly rubs.
She quickly grabbed her camera because she couldn't miss this moment, especially as a wildlife photographer. It was definitely a sight to behold.
It’s giving the same sweet energy as the wild dolphin swimming up to a boat to kiss its dog friend.
The dolphin kindly followed the snorkeler around, and they eventually shared a beautiful moment.
The woman can be seen sitting on her boat while the dolphin rolls over in the water as the snorkeler cuddles with it and gives it some attention. The nature photographer explained to the Irish Independent:
“I was the only person at the harbor when I noticed someone snorkeling in the water with the dolphin.”
Apparently, this isn't the first time that the two have met. The dolphin's name is Dusty, and she's a famous dolphin who always rushes to the divers if she sees them, asking for cuddles.
“They swam alongside each other,” Elaine said. “Then, the dolphin followed the swimmer when she got out of the water, rolling over to have her belly rubbed. Dusty clearly enjoyed the human contact.”
