Adorable Dog With A Human Smile Is Taking The Internet By Storm
Some dogs have a grin that feels almost too human to be real, and Nori is one of them. With his almond-shaped eyes, pink lips, and soft peach-colored skin, the Australian Shepherd-Poodle mix has been turning heads everywhere he goes.
His owner, Tiffany Ngo, says people started stopping her on the street when he was still a puppy, and the attention has only grown since then. Between his unusual face, his expressive reactions, and his poolside photos, Nori has become the kind of dog people cannot scroll past.
And once you see that smile, it is hard to forget him.
This is Nori, an Australian Shepherd cross Poodle
His owner, Tiffany Ngo, got stopped on the street a lot when he was a puppy
Speaking to The Dodo, she said:
"I think Nori's coloring is what makes him look human, especially his eyes... He has a very expressive face-he even makes a disgusted face when I'm painting my nails and he smells the nail polish."
That face has been doing the talking for him ever since.
It’s the same “aww, that’s us” vibe as a Seattle couple whose wobbly emotional support kitty changed everything for them.
Even though he has outgrown his smile a bit, he still appears much more human than other dogs
His smile is all-natural, with Ngo stating that she doesn't do anything to his hair to enhance the look.
He has been compared to Garth from 'Wayne's World'
Not only that, but he has also been compared to Fizzgig from 'The Dark Crystal'.
People clearly cannot agree on whether he looks more like a movie character or a very photogenic pup.
He also really loves taking dips in the pool
Ngo says:
"I love reading comments about how Nori and Boba have brightened a person's day or lightened their mood. It's nice knowing that their little selves may be making a positive difference in someone else's life, no matter how small," shares Dr. Shawn Achor, a positive psychology researcher at shawnachor.com. "The joy that pets bring can significantly enhance our emotional well-being." You can follow Nori and his brother Boba's adventures on their Instagram page, and it is sure to bring a smile to your face. Before Nori, people were obsessed with Mootoo’s sleepy, human-like expressions from Thailand.
