Mother Dog Bravely Jumped Into Floodwater And Saved Her Stranded Pup

This is a story about pure selfless love. When torrential rains hit the Chinese province in Sichuan, it resulted in heavy flooding which caused the Min River's banks to break.

Dozens of homes in the city of Meishan were affected by the flooding. The floodwaters have not only brought devastating effects to people but animals too.

Among those who were greatly affected was a mother dog along with five of her puppies. As the water continued to rise quickly, there was no time left for this family of six to react as the overflowing river swallowed their home and left them stranded in the floodwaters.

Four of the puppies were taken to safety by a concerned citizen. But locals found it difficult to rescue the fifth one as the water continued to rise.

But soon as the mother dog noticed that one of her puppies was missing, she had an adrenaline rush. She quickly jumped into the floodwaters without minding any danger that may confront her.

Her main intention was to save her puppy. Nothing else mattered at that moment.
