Despite Suffering Severe Abuse, This Dog Trudged Through An Entire Field Of Shattered Glass To Seek Help
Dogs are such precious creatures. They give you cuddles, kisses, and so much affection, wanting only your love in return.
In addition to that, they provide companionship, comfort, and affection just when you need it most. That's why they're called man's best friend.
They've changed many people's lives with their silly and goofy ways. And that's why we can't imagine why anyone would want to hurt them, especially since they have little chance of winning against a human who has many means to harm them.
Still, this cruelty happens, and it's one of the most frustrating and heartbreaking things on Earth.
Imagine a dog that just wants a human's affection and a bit of their love, and what do they get in return? Broken bones and trauma.
For this pup in our story, she experienced the very worst of human behavior. Not only was she badly abused, but she was also left to die in a dumpster. Fortunately, her fighting spirit and will to live were so strong that she refused to succumb to her injuries.
She fought for her life, and thankfully, some good humans were able to reach her just in time. Read on for her whole story.
After being badly abused by her previous owner, Nancy the Doberman was thrown into a junkyard. The monster who beat her knew that there was little probability of anyone noticing the emaciated dog in the deserted dump and that she would eventually succumb to her injuries, but he was dead wrong.

Nancy's back was broken, and she was paralyzed from the beating she endured, but by some miracle, the dog managed to crawl through a mountain of shattered glass and metal shards to seek help. She was bleeding, and her eyes were filled with tears, but she refused to give up.
Fortunately, someone noticed her and rushed her to the hospital to try to save her life.

In the hospital, the vets had to perform a complicated surgery on Nancy to fix her damaged spine. Sadly, even after that, her movements were heavily restricted.
She could only move her front paws a little, but her back legs had no movement at all. With that, her caretakers sent her to a rehabilitation center where she could continue to receive treatment.

There, Nancy received continuous water therapy, massages, and treadmill exercises, and little by little, after a few months, the dog's front legs started showing signs of improvement. However, her back legs remained the same.
So, since her rescuers wanted her to enjoy her life and not suffer so much every day, they made Nancy a wheelchair that allowed her to play and socialize with other rescue dogs.

Up until now, Nancy's rescuers have continued her treatment. The good news is that she has already started showing some promising movement in her back legs.
She can even move without her wheelchair now.
Throughout it all, Nancy has been a real trooper. After she makes a full recovery, she'll be ready to find her forever home.

We really don't want to wish ill on others, but we hope whoever did that to Nancy gets what's coming to them. That dog was defenseless against its abuser, and yet they still chose to be that cruel, so they deserve whatever karma will bring.
Hopefully, Nancy's recovery can speed up so she can find the right people who will love her properly and give her the great life she deserves.
