Dog Who Wakes His Human Up Ridiculously Early Is Caught On Night Cam

I don't know about you, but my dog is quite the loafer. Different dog breeds come with different responsibilities, though.

Some dogs are couch potatoes, while others are extremely active. Most dogs, regardless, love their humans very much.

For most of us, waking up is a massive undertaking that we want to delay as much as possible (thank goodness for the snooze function). It becomes even more complicated if the waking-up task must be performed really early when all the lucky people are still sleeping – then it also involves some cursing and self-reflection (Why is this happening to me? How did it come to this? And so on…)

But what if the alarm clock was an adorable pit bull that wakes you up at 4 a.m. with a sweet begging sound that resembles meowing? And if you want to sleep more, your beloved dog comes back in 15 minutes?

As you might think, it is extremely cute. A pit bull pup named Grey was recorded on video while she tried to wake up her owner, who set up the camera precisely to figure out what the heck was going on with her dog.

In the video, you can see that Grey’s first attempt is at 4:57 a.m. Her owner is evidently not thrilled about waking up this early and does a “snooze veto.” So, Grey gives him a 15-minute break.

But again, it’s still too early for the owner to wake up, and he goes back to sleep. Grey leaves disappointed but makes her final return at 5:30 a.m., and the owner finally gets up. Grey gets so excited because it’s playtime now.

At the end of the video, we can even see another dog silently gazing out the window! We all missed that at first.

Grey is so consistent that her owner just uses her instead of an alarm clock now. Each morning, she enters the bedroom at 5 a.m. to wake him up. He snoozes her, and then she returns 15 minutes later.

A lot of people were guessing that she probably needed to go outside, but her owner says that’s not the case here.

“Please don’t worry about her needing us to let her outside. She has a dog door and full access to the backyard, so this is just to get some attention or for some playtime.”
