Dog Who Wakes His Human Up Ridiculously Early Is Caught On Night Cam
Grey the pit bull has a very specific morning routine, and her human is not exactly a fan of it. Every day, she shows up before sunrise, makes her case, and then comes back if the first answer is no.
In this story, the owner set up a night camera to figure out why his dog kept waking him up so early. What he caught was a mix of persistence, patience, and one very determined pup who seems to think 5 a.m. is the perfect time for attention.
By the end, Grey’s little wake-up calls make a lot more sense, and they are even funnier than expected. Read on.
In the video, you can see that Grey’s first attempt is at 4:57 a.m. Her owner is evidently not thrilled about waking up this early and does a “snooze veto.” So, Grey gives him a 15-minute break.
But again, it’s still too early for the owner to wake up, and he goes back to sleep. Grey leaves disappointed but makes her final return at 5:30 a.m., and the owner finally gets up. Grey gets so excited because it’s playtime now.
At the end of the video, we can even see another dog silently gazing out the window! We all missed that at first.
This “too early” wake-up battle is oddly similar to when owners tried to figure out why their dog seemed upset for no apparent reason.
Grey is so consistent that her owner just uses her instead of an alarm clock now. Each morning, she enters the bedroom at 5 a.m. to wake him up. He snoozes her, and then she returns 15 minutes later.
A lot of people were guessing that she probably needed to go outside, but her owner says that’s not the case here.
“Please don’t worry about her needing us to let her outside. She has a dog door and full access to the backyard, so this is just to get some attention or for some playtime.”
