Disney Owes Us The Answers To These 12 Important Questions About Beauty And The Beast

Beauty and the Beast is a classic. You cannot deny that.

It's among those animated films shown during a period known as the Disney Renaissance. Fans and critics alike fell in love with this movie.

For Disney, Beauty and the Beast is a work that achieved a huge milestone. Aside from being the first animated feature written by a woman, it was also the first of its kind to be nominated at the Academy Awards for Best Picture.

It was a film that boasted some of Disney's greatest animation, which includes the two main characters' computer-generated waltz. Its success doesn't stop there.

In 2017, a live-action adaptation of the beloved Disney film starring Emma Watson was released. This came after the success of its Broadway musical.

The animated film indeed stole our hearts. And we can bet that you've watched Beauty and the Beast at least twice.

But if you're one of those people who watched in their childhood and decided to relive the magic in their teenage and adult years, you probably have lingering questions about the plot.

Indeed the film has so many plot holes that Disney owes us answers. Today, we're looking at the questions that people have about the film, and some of them, luckily, have answers from the prominent animation studio.

1. What is Beast's real name?

Disney says that Beast's real name is Prince Adam. But when you think about it, there's no way that people have forgotten the name of the heir to the throne even after he's cursed.

And if he's a prince, where are the king and queen? Why did they leave their child behind in a castle with only servants to serve him?

2. Who would punish an 11-year-old boy for refusing to let a stranger in?

In other words, he was only 11 years old when the "good fairy" knocked on his door disguised as an old woman. The poor child was cursed after not letting a stranger in.

So think about it. Who's the real villain here?

It also seems that all the cups are Mrs. Potts children. And Chip is the favorite child.

With all the books she's read, you'd expect that Belle is the smartest of the Disney Princesses. She's into science and loves inventions.
