The universal love for Disney characters is an affection shared by many. As young kids, it's normal to imagine playing with and being friends with your favorite animated character.
That kind of wonder and limitless imagination did not end in his childhood for this remarkable digital artist. Meet Luigi Kemo Volo, the artist behind the mesmerizing photographs.
Volo is an Italian illustrator and graphic designer from Naples, Italy. He's behind the still renderings of Disney characters 'walking around' in real life.
He takes images of himself and seamlessly integrates Disney characters into them through skilled photoshop magic. It's the crossover we never knew we wanted but needed!
Volo is an avid Disney fan, and a photographer, illustrator, and graphic artist by profession. It's all the ingredients and skills one would need to create these high-skilled, technical images.
Volo shared that we have his nephew to thank for the images. It's the artist's love for his nephew that inspired his creations.
He also said about his passion for the work, “I've always been a huge fan of Disney animation. Ever since I was a kid watching videotapes of Disney classics I would stop midway, take a pencil and paper, and copy characters, I spent a lot of time doing it!”
Since then whenever he gets an idea for a photo, he spends a few hours after his job to 'play' with the Disney characters. Out of these bursts of inspiration, Volo has created over 500 renderings that he shares on his social media accounts!
