People say that when the most unexpected things come at unexpected moments, they are one of the best things that we can ever experience in our lives. This is what happened to both kittens, Otter and Bunny, and to the one who rescued and gave them foster care, Caroline Grace.
The two adorable kittens were found in need of medical attention and without the sight of their real mother around Nothern California. Grace immediately took them both to the nearest vet, the Baby Kitten Rescue, where both would be treated carefully.
Thankfully, Grace found the kittens early on because their condition really needed immediate medical care. They were newly born kitty cats, and they still needed their mother cat, but sadly, they were left all alone…poor kittens.
Kittens, Otter and Bunny, are so lucky to have been found by Grace. Not only were they treated by their current condition, but they were also given a new foster home to grow up in the meantime until someone adopts them in the near future.

babykittenrescuePoor babies, they only wanted their mama, but gladly Grace was there to save the day! Look at them so cozy and cuddly after being left in a sad Northern California street.
babykittenrescueGrace immediately took them to Baby Kitten Rescue when she observed that the kittens had missing limbs and were devastatingly hungry.
babykittenrescueThis is Otter, the big brother.
babykittenrescueDoesn’t he look adorable?
babykittenrescueHe was born with a rare condition called “Meningoencephalocele,' a congenital defect. This caused his skull to not fully develop and close, leaving a hole in the top of his head where a small part of his brain can be seen.
babykittenrescueGet well soon, Otter!
babykittenrescueAdorable Otter, you’ll get better in no time.
babykittenrescuePeople at the rescue center made sure Otter gets the best treatment. They let him wear a custom-made helmet to protect his brain
babykittenrescueIt’s just like an accessory!
babykittenrescueOtter is an adventurous kitty, he loves to roam around.
babykittenrescueHe’s already cute, but he’s also playful, loves to snuggle and rest, and purrs at everyone!

babykittenrescueShe’s learning to move on her back legs slowly every day. Yay!
babykittenrescueShe’s an inspiration to her brother. Otter also learned how to stand on his feet because of Bunny.
babykittenrescueBunny’s such a funny kitty, she’s given aids to get to her bed, but she still jumps ahead from the ground to reach it.
