Do you feel that your day is venturing a bit too far southward, and everything just feels too beige and uninteresting? Does it seem that everything is getting a little too boring or basic? There's only one thing that can save your day.
Yes, you guessed that right, dark humor to the rescue. If you like your jokes with a bit of sarcasm or irony, then we've got something definitely dark enough to save your day.
Meet Russian artist and up-and-comer Dmitri Piankov. Dmitri was a stand-up comedian for years before he started posting comics on his Instagram page.
Well, his comic characters are quite normal, with fairly relatable illustrations and familiar situations. The endings are the real knockout though, they are laden with unexpectedly surprising twists.
In these comics, the artist combined subtle humor with very unpredictable twists. If you're a fan of a little (harmless) dark humor, and you enjoy quirky thinking, you will definitely love his work!
Although his comic series look quite superficial—you shouldn't ‘judge a book’ by its cover—it takes Dmitri 4-6 hours to finish one comic. The artist does his work with dexterity, approaching his sketches with responsibility.
We've compiled Dmitri's latest comic series that will make you go “Oh shit, I didn't see that coming.” Scroll down and have a look at our awesome selection of his dark work. Enjoy!

Probably because it's hard to stay impartial about one's creation, he finds it difficult to make any choices out of the comics he's done so carefully. All artist Dmitri just wants to do is make drawings, illustrations, and comics to make people happy, he'll publish his own book soon, and we hope that it turns out to be a blast.
Well, comics remind us that storytelling is so much more than the diagrams, and technical skills, artists have to push through the fear, and create content. Definitely, something good will come out.

If your hungry inner devil craves brutal humor and plot twists, you're in the right place. Assuredly, there's enough of these devilishly funny drawings to keep him at bay for the mean time—till some other time in the future.
These dark comics are so brief and spontaneous, they hit you right before you know what's happening.
