Wiley is the kind of Dalmatian that makes people stop scrolling twice. With a heart-shaped nose, a playful personality, and a serious love of attention, this Colorado pup has become impossible to ignore.
Lexi Smith brought Wiley home from Oklahoma on St. Patrick's Day last year, and while his markings helped, they were not the only reason she chose him. He was the sleepy, snuggly puppy in a litter of 11, and that easygoing energy sealed the deal.
Now Wiley is all grown up, and his mix of charm, stubbornness, and hiking obsession makes him even more lovable.

Wiley is 54 lbs of pure goofball and has been described as having 'more personality bundled up into his little body than any dog Lexi has ever met.'
That heart-shaped nose really does steal the show.

"We are so lucky to live in Colorado and have the biggest, most beautiful places to play in and explore. He loves hiking or going to one of the many massive dog parks here."

Dalmatians are known for their intelligence and their stubborn tendencies. Ol' Wiley is no different!
Lexi provides all the details-
"Wiley's truest Dalmatian traits are constantly making me laugh," she continued. "Usually, it's a giggle paired with shaking my head, laughing off total frustration from his stubbornness, but that's part of owning the breed. If you can't laugh it off and be creative in finding a solution to train the naughty traits out of them, life with a Dalmatian would be such a challenge."
He sounds like a handful, but a lovable one.

No relationship is truly great without some triumphs; Lexi and Wiley's is no exception. But they take it all on together; love knows no boundaries! Lexi remains grateful despite their difficulties.
"I have been really lucky with Wiley, though. He has the best heart, and I'm not talking about the one on his nose. He loves everyone he meets and is always so excited to make new friends. He has been relatively easy to train and has made the best little adventure partner I could ask for. He requires so much attention, and he's basically attached to my hip, but that's what I love about him."
