No one can compete with a child's imagination and no one can exactly comprehend it either (pun intended). Kids have rich imaginations and they do not mind expressing themselves.
An artist named Tom Curtis has been trying to comprehend the imaginations of kids. He has two kids of his own, named Al and Dom, and he enjoys putting life into his kids' creative projects.
One such project is called "Things I Have Drawn" which was started in 2016. So, what tom does is he re-imagines the drawings of little kids into the forms they would look like if they were real.
The project started with his own kids' drawings when he transformed their crayon drawing into photoshop of real things. No wonder the result was weird-looking creatures.
The eyes and other features and limbs were misplaced or were drawn in weird shapes and sizes. When put together, they were made into funny-looking things.
So, this gave Curtis an idea. In his own words he explains:
“What [would the] world be like if all the things kids drew were actually real, and it was just us stupid adults that weren’t looking hard enough?” This is how the story of "Things I Have Drawn" started."
Curtis has managed to have 858K followers on Instagram due to the popularity of this project. You will find all sorts of drawings on his profile.
The trick remains to identify what the kid was actually trying to draw. Scroll down to see some of these cute pictures.
