Funko Is Launching 'Corpse Bride' Pop Vinyls For The First Time, And Fans Can't Wait

The new Pops are being launched as a follow-up to Funko's Funkoween event.

Tim Burton's films have always been extremely popular. So, you'd be forgiven for assuming that there would be an abundance of merchandise available based on his beloved movies.

While this is undoubtedly true, one of the most popular forms of merchandise are Funko's Pop vinyls, and the famous brand has never released many of Tim Burton's characters as part of their range. This is especially the case for Corpse Bride - until now!

The new Pops are being launched as a follow-up to Funko's Funkoween event. There were several characters announced at that event, including from The Nightmare Before Christmas and Edward Scissorhands; however, the Bride was not one of them much to the disappointment of fans.

Fans were disappointed when the Corpse Bride was left out of the Funkoween announcements. However, Funko seems to be making up for it with a new range of Pops available for pre-order.

Along with the Corpse Bride Pops, there will also be some other new additions based on other films, including Child's Play, Killer Klowns From Outer Space and Zombified editions of various Marvel characters.

Having said that, the Corpse Bride Pops are definitely getting the most attention. Perhaps because it's the first time they have ever been featured as Pop figures.

The Corpse Bride series will also include Johnny Depp's character, Victor Van Dort. The figures will stand at 3 ¾ inches tall, and will make the perfect addition to any collection.

The new Pops are currently available for pre-order on Entertainment Earth for $10.99. They will begin shipping in August.
