Movies have been great restarters not only of pop culture in history, and anyone seeing that movies are just mere movies has never seen one that they truly loved or liked yet. People are highly entertained with stories, and movies have been a great avenue for producers, writers, and directors to convey a message to the public without being overly explicit.
There are bad movies as much as there are great movies, but it all depends on the preference of the person that watches them. Some people may like a certain movie, opens their socials to post their reaction and review online, only to find out that other people did not actually like it just as much.
That being said, you would always find controversial opinions in the corners of the Internet regarding these movies, and most people wouldn't have agreed to them if it weren't for the fact that it does make them retrace their thoughts and see if the person with the said opinion may be right. There are certain opinions that sometimes make people react somewhat violently (by Internet standards) because of how absurd it is and there are some opinions that make others totally agree.
When a Redditor asked the question "What's your most controversial movie take?" on the platform, people were then quick to put in their two cents. The post has now gathered over 10k comments and has been upvoted by about 7k people.
