Cats are complicated creatures with a peculiar obsession for cardboard boxes. You can buy them the most expensive cat bed, and they'll choose a random cardboard box over it in a heartbeat.
In fact, you could buy almost anything for a cat, and they'll prefer the box. Cat tree? No thanks, box. Cat treat? Nope! Box. Cat toys? Think again, sucker! Box.
This is because, quite simply, cats don't even care if the box fits or not. They will completely disregard that and try to squeeze into it or just casually lay on top of it.
