Cat Mom Gets Pleasantly Surprised After Her Pet Returns Home With A Written Note On His Collar

It's natural that cats make friends when they hang out in different places. Think about it.

When you chance upon a cat outside, you can't help but approach and pet it. And if you have some snacks with you, you won't hesitate to share some with the feline.

The cat will eventually acknowledge you as a friend and keep coming back to get petted and ask for some treats. In this post, we're looking at the story of Jeffrey, a cat who made friends with a human other than his owner.

The feline's mom, Jessica Cowan, discovered that he has been making friends in the neighborhood of Edinburgh, Scotland when she found a note in Jeffrey's tuxedo collar. After reading it, she found out that her cat has a newfound friend who's concerned about his health and waistline.

The ten-year-old cat has been living with his current family for nine years. According to Cowan, she adopted him from a friend who lived in a high-rise residential building.

Cowan's friend adopted him from a cat rescue facility located in Leith. But Jeffrey didn't enjoy the environment he was in at the time.

The cat owner shared how naughty and playful the kitten is. His mischievous ways seem to amplify even with age.

Lately, the cat has been gaining friends in the neighborhood. One day, Jeffrey came home with something attached to his new collar.

This scared Cowan.

Jessica thought she let another cat into her home since she saw that its collar is different from Jeffrey's.

When she finally grabbed the cat, she confirmed that it was indeed her cat and removed the note from the collar. This was the message.

The note shocked Cowan.

Shortly after that, she began laughing. The cat mom recently took Jeffrey to the vet because he was slightly underweight from rejecting the food and water given to him.

The furball was on antibiotics and had a shaved patch where his blood sample was taken.

Kriss is Cowan and Jeffrey's newfound friend. Thanks to the food he eats in Kriss and Cowan's homes, he started gaining some weight again.

Cowan already noticed that he was packing on pounds, but she didn't pay too much attention to it. Now that she's aware of what's going in, she's very thankful to Jeffrey's new friend.

I wrote a note back with my name and number. He’s not yet texted me but he sent a note back saying his name is Kriss and Jeffrey is a very special cat to him!

Cowan was willing to let Jeffrey hang out as Kriss's because the feline loves getting into his home.

The man sounds lovely and obviously loves Jeffrey just as much as I do!

Although Jeffrey enjoys visiting other people's homes in the area, Cowan mentioned that the cat scared some of her neighbors during the furball's sudden visits.

One of them, a lady, was so frightened after she saw Jeffrey sleeping in a curled-up position. She frantically called her brother to deal with what she saw.

Then Cowan got a knock on the door with the man carrying Jeffrey with a disappointed face after being caught.

When the mischievous feline comes home, he attempts to get in by jumping on the handle. But no matter how scared the neighbors might be, Cowan thinks that he won't do something wrong.
