Journalist Shares 40 Vintage Photos Of Cats Posing With Popular People From Decades Ago

These kitties are posing with many famous and interesting personalities of the past.

Some of the most popular online searches and viewings are for pictures and videos of cats. Simply put, they have people who are mad at them.

You might be shocked to learn that this "psychosis" didn’t begin with the development of the internet. We have evidence that cats were frequently the stars of numerous pictures well before 1983.

A purrfect Instagram account named "All Vintage Cats" was created by a Brazilian journalist named Paula Leite Moreira. There she posts old photographs of cats posing with notable and fascinating historical figures.

Even when celebrities are present, cats always receive the most of the attention, if not all of it. After seeing a 19th-century image online in 2020, Paula started the "All Vintage Cats" Instagram account.

She previously informed Bored Panda that she became interested in digging for other historical records of cats and that she felt compelled to let others know about her findings. The journalist also revealed that the reason she started this account was that she is a real "crazy cat lady" and accidentally found herself looking up information about some old cat pictures online.

So she thought to herself "why not share it with other cat lovers?" so here we are…
