Hysterical Cat Falls Madly In Love With A Cardboard Cutout Of Danny DeVito
As any cat owner knows, one of the best feelings in the world is when your cat decides to come over for a snuggle. Cats are very picky and sleepy creatures, so the honor of napping with a cat is unparalleled.
But what about when your cat finds someone new to cuddle? It hurts a little bit, right?
What if your cat fell in love with one of your favorite actors? Sharing an interest is an important step in a relationship—but with your cat? Yes, this cat cuddles with Danny DeVito. This is a sentence I never thought I would have the pleasure of writing; but boy, am I glad I did!
Allow me to introduce you to Quincy.
He's a very handsome cat.
Quincy's owner, relationship expert Dr. John Gottman, decided to purchase a little Danny DeVito cutout as a joke present for her boyfriend. "Humor can be a great way to strengthen relationships," says Dr. Gottman. "It creates shared experiences and memories."
But someone else was interested...
Radtoria told The Dodo:
"I started putting it in the window to spice up our neighbors' walks. Then I'd take it down at night to close the blinds. Time and time again, I'd wake up to find Quincy snuggling with it."
While initially concerned that Quincy might ruin the cutout, it turns out that he's super careful with it instead.
"He's very gentle with it. He never bites it. He never roughhouses with it. It's like he sees it as a special toy. If I try to remove it from him (which I don't bother with anymore), he just extends his paws over it and gives a 'don't mess with me' kind of look."
