Pieru the cat, is both incredibly sweet and very naughty. This adorable cat's tendency to play pranks or get into trouble started to appear from an early age, classic kitten life, and one of his favorite activities is knocking things off different flat surfaces.
At a glance, we know that cats knocking things off of flat surfaces is very typical cat behavior. For the cat Pieru, though, it was just destiny setting him up for something greater.
"One day shortly after his arrival, he found out knocking things over is his hobby," Kerstin Reif, Pieru's owner, told the reporters
Pieru is a cat on a mission of knocking everything he can find on the table, and his nickname, "Getoffthetable," is well deserved. His kitty cat escapades were mostly harmless - until he noticed the trash bin.
"Unfortunately our trash can stands near the table and obviously makes funny noises when he puts something in," Reif told the reporters. "About one year ago I missed my pen and found it in the bin — but I was sure that I didn't throw it there neither did it lay in a way it could have fallen by itself."
Pieru shows off his kitty teefies:

KERSTIN REIFReif figured out that Pieru must have knocked it in, and all of a sudden, a list of things she’d lost lately started to appear in her head. The cat had been tossing things in the trash can for a while, but no one ever noticed.
Now aware of the cat’s inclination to throwing things away, Reif first checks the trash can every time she’s missing something. Also, she always checks it before emptying it, just in case.
So far, she has found pens, scissors, the salt shaker, and the TV remote in the trash, and Pieru seems to be proud of every single item.
Pieru isn't even trying to hide the fact that he enjoys knocking things over. In fact, the cat clearly likes it when they are witnessing him making a mess.
"He looks so self-confident sometimes there's even a smile on his face, I'm sure," Reif told the reporters. "He looks at us, nudging something … when you say 'Pieru noooo,' he smiles and throws it over."
Have you ever seen a cat look more smug and satisfied than this?
KERSTIN REIFKnocking things off and making them land in the wastebasket is obviously Pieru’s favorite pastime, and he has no intention to stop.
