You may, or may not, already know of the adorable comic characters, Brutus and Pixie. But, if you haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting them, you're in for a treat!

Brutus is a tough-looking soldier dog with a heart of gold, and Pixie is a little cat with an infinite supply of energy and cheek. The adorable duo have a whopping following of 2.5 million loyal fans on Instagram, and it's not hard to see why.

The characters of Pet Foolery, Brutus and Pixie have had many fun adventures already, but they're back again with some new and exciting ones for us to enjoy. From Brutus turning into a race car to Pixie wanting to climb Mount Everest, the adorable pair are never short of mischief to get into!

Ben Hed, the creator of Pet Foolery is currently working on a book based on the dog and cat duo. "I’ve been spending my extra time working on a Pixie and Brutus graphic novel," he said.

"It all started with a random comic idea," Ben continued. "I was never planning on making them a series, I just thought it would be a funny idea to introduce a cute little kitten to a big intimidating war dog."

But as soon as the Pet Foolery comic was released, people fell in love with the adorable characters and Ben just kept making them. He now has a cult following on Instagram with more than 2.5 million fans.

Ben says the comics have only changed over the years due to his personal style evolving and getting more detailed. "It’s pretty cool to look back at my earliest comics and see how much cleaner and better my artwork is now. It’s very encouraging for me to see the improvement," he said.
