30 Ridiculous "Breathable" Masks On Etsy That Offer Absolutely No Protection From Covid-19, But Sell Like Crazy

Some people believe that laws are there to violate their rights. Of course, they are selective and don't really mind the rules that suit them.

But everything else is basically a violation of their God-given right to not care about anyone else and be selfish as much as they want. In this case, face masks are just another government attempt to control us; they are dangerous and unnecessary.

Now the anti-maskers have another weapon in their arsenal; breathable masks. They enable them to comply with rules and regulations, but still show that they are against wearing masks, (and if they can infect someone along the way, its just a bonus, apparently).

They offer absolutely no protection from the Coronavirus, or any other, for that matter. "While there are counties requiring masks in public; NO law requires a specific type or particulate rating of mask," one Twitter user said.

"The general public are making their own masks including open mesh. No fines have been issued while wearing them in public. This is about compliance, not safety," the person publicly bragged about discovering the loophole.

These "breathable" masks, which are made from tulle, mesh, and other porous materials, are all over the Internet, on websites such as Etsy. The fact that actual businesses sell these masks makes people angry.

"Etsy is just blatantly allowing people to sell mesh face masks," one tweet says. "Spread the word, this [crap] shouldn't be allowed, and they are just letting it happen."

Despite the public opposition, these mesh masks are still available on the website. Etsy spokesperson said that the corporation is trying to "actively review and remove items that violate" its policies.
