Woman Tells Her BIL's GF That His Parents Might Accept Her If She "Got Pregnant" As Joke, But Now She's Really Pregnant
We're back here again with yet another Reddit post and today's post is from the AITA thread which is a thread that we like to look into quite often. This thread is where people go to see if they are in the wrong for something they did or said in a situation.
They come to the internet to get advice from people on perspectives from people to see how they may have been in the wrong, or not, in their situation. So with this being said, today we're looking at a post that was submitted by a woman who told her BIL's girlfriend to "get pregnant" and her boyfriend's parents might like her more.
Well apparently, she got pregnant and now is blaming OP saying that this was the advice that she gave her. However, OP of course didn't think she'd literally get pregnant and then start blaming the whole charade on her. There's so much going on in this situation and we definitely think that people had quite a lot to say in the comments about everything.

Of course nobody would tell someone that if they really thought they'd go through with it.
This is why OP decided to tell her that, because basically this was her situation but that was the joke.
It seems like they have similar stories though and maybe that's why she decided to just go ahead and get pregnant because OP said to.
OP just wants to know if she's in the wrong for saying this to her even though obviously she didn't mean it.
Many peopel came to the comments but this comment said that ESH, and we kind of see how this might be the best verdict.

It seems like the majority of the verdicts in the comments are actually all over the place. Many things that ESH, while something OP is TA, and some others think she's NTA and that the brother is to blame.
Either way, there are a lot of different things to take into consideration here in this situation.
