Man Told His "Child" To Beat Up The Neighbor's Cat

We often hear the saying which goes, "they are fighting like cats and dogs". From that line, you can think that cats and dogs are enemies for life.

If properly trained, these two different species can get along well. Training is every fur parent's responsibility.

But for this two-year-old dog named Leo, the case was different. His dad was telling him the opposite.

This Reddit user (u/heteroflexual) has shared with the community how he told his dog to deal with cats. As the owner saw a cat by the shed, he approached Leo. The dog was then playing in the backyard.

He then told his dog to chase the kitty away within his yard. The dog looked at his owner hesitantly but went towards the shed.

Without holding his words, he even said further, "Yeah, Leo, you got this. Man up and go beat up the pussy cat!"

His new neighbor, who recently moved in, heard everything, and that's when things turned differently. Thinking that Leo was indeed a kid, she rushed and yelled to the man.

That spiked the ire of the woman who happened to own a cat. Read along to know how this turned out for the neighbors and their pets.

This two-year-old dog had encounters with cats before, but he got so terrified of their deadly mittens.

Thinking that Leo was a kid, and after hearing his encouragement to beat the cats, the pregnant neighbor came to him to reprimand him of his unacceptable statement.

According to her, he is one of the reasons why children are so disrespectful and rude nowadays and that he is raising his son to become a future abuser.

Thankfully, all is well now, and they ended up as friends, exchanging gifts for their pets.

There are no bad dogs, only bad owners. Well, this is true.

Our pets are a reflection of who and what we are, how we behave around others. If we train them to be kind and friendly to others, then they will too.

We have seen videos and read stories about these animals living together. There are dogs that even forget to be dogs as they have grown around cats so every dog owner should teach their "babies" to be a good canine citizen.
