Last month, Australia’s Koala Rescue volunteers received a call about a poor baby who needed help. The little koala, whom they named Norris, is an infant who fell off the tree, which left him separated from his mother.
Luckily, the poor little koala didn't get any injuries from the accident. Still, he needed a little bit of help to get back to his family.
The worried mother koala looked down from above when the rescuer picked Norris up. But she still looked hesitant to venture down and retrieve her son herself.
So, the rescuers ultimately decided that they ought to go up the tree instead. Then, they shifted their plans.
The rescuers waited for their tree climber.
It was then that one volunteer stepped up to do something magical instead. She held baby Norris up where his mum could see him.
The mother grunted and growled, and then the infant called his mother down.
KOALA RESCUEThe mother koala finally descended the tree so the could finally take Norris back with her.
The mother and son were finally reunited.
The Koala Rescue team has been reuniting mums and babies for years. They were amazed that this rescue was caught on video.
