The classical way of teaching is just way too boring, it's impossible to get students excited about that unless you include some new methods that involve fun activities and inside jokes. Some teachers get it, but unfortunately, a lot of others don't really care and just want to do their job by the book.

We live in a world where we're constantly distracted by everything since there's always something more interesting in your pocket so how can anyone choose to focus on something that doesn't really interest them.

Drawing people's attention can be easy, and these teachers already figured it out and they're getting a lot of praise for it.
