Father Of Two And A Sole Breadwinner In The Family Gets Kicked Out For Asking His Wife To Support Her Own Expensive Animal Hobby
It's often a problem when people's hearts are bigger than their pockets

There are a million and one animals out there looking for someone to care for them. These animals have feelings like us and should be treated fairly.
This is where animal welfare comes in. It refers to an animal's overall quality of life and includes how well the animal is adjusting to his or her current situation and environment.
Because so many animals are harmed due to their usage in entertainment, food, medicine, fashion, scientific research, and as exotic pets, animal welfare is crucial. Human interactions with animals have an impact on animal welfare, and it is our responsibility to ensure that all animals are handled properly, humanely, and with respect.
In today's AITA story, we read about a staunch animal lover who happens to be the OP's wife. It was her desire to take care of animals for the rest of her life, and the OP promised to support her.
What started with one horse and three dogs is now five dogs, three horses, four donkeys, a couple of cats, and a bird. The OP couldn't bear the financial burden of catering for all the animals as his wife wanted to add more expensive animals to the ones she already has.
It got to a point when they were out of money, so the OP's wife applies for credit cards and starts racking up the bills. The OP tried talking to his wife about the whole situation but ended up being kicked out.
The Headline...

A few years later, she has been adding to this with really expensive animals

She yelled at the OP for not supporting the children

As usual, the comments trooped in and here are a bunch of them.
Your wife needs mental help now

She is asking you to support an addiction

It's not your fault that you have an abusive spouse

She's well on her way to being an animal hoarder

Marriage counseling is definitely in the cards

She needs to get a job to fund it

She'll understand the value of money soon enough

You don't see how bad this is getting

She is going to bankrupt you

She sounds like one of those pet hoarders

It sounds as though your marriage can't survive this

The two of you need to come to some agreement

She is neglecting the needs of the children

The disappointment here should be her complete disregard

She is borrowing money she can't pay back

That's your retirement or children's college money

Let her stew in her debt

It doesn't mean that her actions are wise

She kicked you out to punish you

It was any other recognized addiction

Every animal deserves a happy life with all the advantages therein. But then, there’s a fine line between trying to help and becoming part of the problem.
When taking in animals that you can’t afford, especially if an accident occurs, you end up becoming part of the problem and it's just so sad the OP's wife can't see that.
