You would think that there are no more secrets in today's world. We are all connected, the internet is everywhere, and you can find out about anything and everything in a second. But that's not true.

For instance, we know less about the ocean depths than we know about space. And there are many mysterious places just around the corner. If you don't believe us, check out this Facebook group.

"Abandoned Beauties" is dedicated to urban exploration (also known as Urbex or UE) and features beautiful photos of abandoned places and things.

Exploring abandoned locales and discovering unexpected treasures can provide that deep excitement. The images you capture and the first-hand experiences will be beautiful memories. And the adrenalin rush... don't get us started...

Going to places with so much history built into their foundations arouse mixed feelings. You are imagining all the things that were going on there, you are excited by this remarkable discovery, but you are also very sad because people let it all crumble.

If we can’t repair those wonderful old buildings, the least we can do is to preserve the memory. And photos are a great way to do that.

Going on adventures and exploring is great. But remember, just because a building is close to an urban area, doesn’t mean that it is safe to explore.

It would be best if you were careful because some animals might have taken refugee in them, the wooden floors and the beams are old and can easily break… the list of dangers lurking is long.

But that doesn’t mean you should give up on your adventure. Just be careful.
