Premier League footballer Kurt Zouma has actually confessed kicking and slapping his pet feline in a viral video that triggered a series of comparable animal cruelty attacks, the court heard.

District attorneys also told the court that the video triggered a spate of copycat attacks which were filmed and shared online, stimulating outrage from advocates.
The court was told about disturbing video of the event, shot at Zouma's home and posted on Snapchat by his sibling on February 6. It was later on seen by a lady who had been messaging Yoan, who raised the alarm. Zouma might be seen volleying the Bengal feline throughout his kitchen, prior to throwing a pair of shoes at it and more.
Prosecutor Hazel Stevens informed the court Kurt Zouma could be heard stating: 'I swear I'll k**l it, I swear I'll eliminate it.' Ms Stevens stated the 40-second clip appeared to be performed after the cats were considered accountable for harming a chair in the home.
She said: 'Kurt Zouma is determined to chastise or perform some sort of retribution for the damage caused.'
Ms Stevens included: 'This is a scene which can just be explained as shocking. He did not chastise the feline where it was however brought it into the kitchen and kicked it like a football.'
The court heard the young female who initially reported the footage was so appalled she canceled a date with Yoan Zouma, composing: 'I do not believe that is OK.
The feline does not know what it is doing. ' I do not want to associate with people who discover that amusing, in front of a kid. ' You must take care of that things, especially with your family being who they are.'
Footage showed Kurt Zouma recording the cat sitting on a chair and approaching it with a slipper prior to running at the cat. While bringing the cat at waist height Zouma 'drops the feline, kicks it in the stomach with his left foot and another cat can be seen escaping,' said Ms. Stevens.
Kurt might be heard chuckling in the background while Yoan published the video with laughing emojis. Kurt was heard stating 'I'll hit it, 'you desire a battle', and 'where is it. Where is it?' and 'I'll kill it - I swear - I'll k**l it.'
' Dealing with family pets in this way does not show good example behavior. ' They both have a position of obligation as footballers. They are good examples whose actions are copied. ' Their behavior disappoints what is anticipated of a high-profile image.'
