Yellowstone Star Delivers Harsh Criticism Of Kevin Costner After Shocking Exit

Yellowstone is a beloved show that has gained extreme popularity over the last few years as many have jumped on the bandwagon of watching it. Streaming on Paramount, Yellowstone was an incredible show that had people absolutely hooked.
Luke Grimes was the main actor on the show, and he gained a huge fanbase for that. He has worked alongside Kevin Costner since the show began, and therefore, you can expect that they formed a strong bond.
The show has been going on for six years, and fans have grown to love the two actors together, which made Costner's split from the show even more heartbreaking. Costner supposedly left the show after an alleged conflict between him and Taylor Sheridan, who was the series creator.

Costner came out to his fans first about his departure as they'd be the ones most upset about the change.
Costner, who played John Dutton, said on his social media post: "I want to reach out and let you know that after this long year and a half of working on Horizon and doing all the things that are required, and thinking about Yellowstone, that beloved series that I love, that I know you love, I just realized that I’m not going to be able to continue season 5B or into the future."
"It was something that really changed me," he continued. "I loved it. And I know you loved it. And I just wanted to let you know that I won’t be returning, and I love the relationship we’ve been able to develop. I’ll see you at the movies."

Fans were extremely disappointed to hear the news that he'd be stepping away from the show.
Following the news that he was stepping out, Luke Grime spoke out and said, "To be really honest, there was a part of Kevin being gone that meant some of the conflict was gone. Obviously, it didn’t make it super fun to be around. Not pointing any fingers, but it was actually the easiest season we’ve filmed.”
His character was ultimately killed off in Season 5 Episode 2, and although fans were upset about it, it seems like this may have been a good thing for many other people who were involved.
